“Spin,” the first single from The Lonely Harps Club’s upcoming album “Long Game,” has been released today.
Spin is a foot-tapping harp-driven pop song with rock influences. Writer Julia Mascetti attempted to capture the mania of working in the creative industries in the 21st century through fast, frenzied lyrics and catchy riffs. The video, produced by up-and-coming French filmmaker Max Bandicoot, has an urban and darkly vintage aesthetic. We see Julia roam the streets of London at night, rock out on her harp in a basement bar, and document it all on a 1930s typewriter.
